Wheatstone, an environmental consulting firm based in Braintree, MA, is pleased to announce that they have been selected to work with NECCO, the oldest multi-line candy company in the United States, at their world headquarters in Revere, MA. Wheatstone was chosen based on their extensive experience and local historical knowledge. As recently reported in the Boston Globe, NECCO will be closing their Pewaukee, Wisconsin plant May 30 and consolidating operations to Revere, bringing new jobs to the area. Wheatstone's work, continuing into 2009, will involve additional subsurface explorations to help define the site conditions at the property. |
