Wheatstone Works for the City of Brockton

Type :Announcements

Wheatstone continues to assist the Brockton Parking Authority and FST in a project that will provide downtown beatification through the use of PWED (Public Works Economic Development) funds. The property is known locally as the City Hall Parking Lot. Wheatstone’s involvement started several years ago when the Brockton Redevelopment Authority initially controlled the property. At that time, it was originally scheduled to be redeveloped as a two-story parking garage.

The former uses (in the 19th and 20th centuries) at the property left materials that Wheatstone was able to assess and manage, generally, in place. The work involved the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) and the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) as Wheatstone provided LSP Services for the project.
