Wheatstone Sponsors Renewable Energy Workshop

Wheatstone is proud to sponsor the recent Mass Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) & Mass Department of Energy Resources (Mass DOER) workshop: Renewable Energy at Closed Landfills. Nearly 40 municipal officials and other interested parties gathered in Mansfield for an all-day workshop exploring issues relating to developing wind and solar power on their capped landfills. The sold-out workshop was co-sponsored by the Mass DOER and MassDEP with support from the Massachusetts Renewable Energy Trust and the Environmental Business Council (EBC) of New England.

 

Wheatstone invited several of our clients to the workshop to meet with DEP and DOER personnel and is currently evaluating future options for privately held closed landfills.
