WHEATSTONE Responds to Emergency Fuel Release

Wheatstone has been retained as the LSP-of-Record for a fuel spill at the Roxbury U-Haul parking lot. Approximately 200 gallons of gasoline were released after vandals drilled into the fuel tanks of 9 trucks on Sunday morning, September 28, 2008. Gasoline ran across the parking lot and entered a network of storm drains along Mass. Ave. As the LSP, Wheatstone’s Principal, Carl Shapiro, will coordinate the response actions conducted for the Responsible Party and provide containment, assessment and remediation, along with required documentation to MassDEP.
 
In addition to providing support services in real estate development, property management, and financial industries, Wheatstone regularly provides LSP services, for oversight of emergency response spills.
