Wheatstone continues to provide their client with up to date project information regarding a release identified by Wheatstone’s Principal prior to the purchase of the property. During the ESA, two releases to the environment were identified including a gasoline release.

 

The property is in a potentially productive aquifer, which is classified as a GW-1 area. The former owner continues to treat the groundwater to achieve the conservative GW-1 risk based standards

 

A second release (to soil only) was closed out by the former owner shortly after the developer purchased the property. Since releases were identified prior to purchase, the Responsible Party for the releases is clearly the former property owner, and not Wheatstone’s client.
