The Community Bank Receives SBA Award

Wheatstone is very pleased to applaud one of our clients, The Community Bank, for recently being honored by the Small Business Association. During National Small Business Week the SBA announced a new category of awards this year to recognize lenders that have excelled in making first mortgage loans in 504 projects. The Community Bank was awarded Small National 504 Loan Lender of the year, U.S Small Business Administration’s 2009 New England, and 2009 Massachusetts 1st Mortgage Lender of the Year. The bank is a strong supporter of the 504 Certified Development Company program, having 17 loan approvals in 2008 involving the SBA’s 504 program. Wheatstone provided due diligence services for nearly half of the loans and negotiated directly with the SBA to agree on proper language for letters of reliance. | ||
