Public Service

Our corporate values uphold a commitment to public service, dedicated to contributing personal time and professional experience to communities and our profession:

 

In 2005, Wheatstone volunteered Licensed Site Professional services to the Mass. CWRP for public and private projects earmarked for funding to restore valuable wetlands to towns.

 

Each of Wheatstone’s Principals serves on a town Conservation Commission, adding to our experience and understanding of working with municipalities. 

Wheatstone Principal, Carl Shapiro, serves as the President of the LSP Association. Principal Jim Murphy, serves on the Technical Practices Committee.

Wheatstone’s Principals have provided environmental consulting and third party LSP review, on a pro bono basis, for projects conducted by the towns in which they reside.
